Keenagers

Older men are to be temperate, dignified, sensible, sound in faith, in love, in perseverance. Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, Titus 2:2-3 (NASB)

Monthly Devotions

Each month, our keenagers gets together for a monthly devotion and a chance to encourage one another. At times, they have featured speakers on topics such as Social Security, insurance, government, and more.

Poinsettia Delivery

During the holidays, our keenagers can be found delivering poinsettias to shut-ins, bringing not only these bright gifts of cheer but the warm hand of a friend.

Holiday dinner

Every year, our young-at-heart gather together for an extra special dinner and time of fellowship.

Keenage/Teenage Pizza Party

What a special relationship exists between our keenagers and teenagers! Every year the keenagers host a pizza party for the teenagers and then talk hours together proving that the generation gap is a very thin line when love builds the bridge.

Visitation

This special group within our congregation makes a point of visiting others who are struggling with spiritual or physical illnesses. They provide a loving touch in so many ways!

Special Trips and Times of Fellowship

Now that their children are grown and on their own, our keenagers have the opportunity to travel more and spend more fellowship time with one another. They take wonderful advantage of those opportunities!
