Served North End – 2007-2021
Steven was born in 1971 in South Carolina but grew up at the church in Hender
sonville, Tennessee. He began college at Freed-Hardman but left to work con
struction for 10 years. He eventually went back to school and earned his bache
lor and master degrees in Bible. During this time he married Jennie and they
eventually had four children. His first located work was in Corinth, Mississippi.
Steven was the North End minister from 2007-2021. An almost fatal auto crash
put Steven in the hospital and rehab for months. He later started going with oth
er North End members on mission trips to China. He was an adjunct professor
at Ohio Valley University and served on the faculty at West Virginia School of
Preaching. In addition he served as director of area church camps. In 2021 the
family moved to the church in Greenville, South Carolina to be closer to ailing
family members.
